In fervent support of the 2nd Leg of the 2023 Next Gen Pilipinas Surfing National Tour, Mayor Jose Ivan Dayan Agda of the City of Borongan welcomed 16 members of the United Philippine Surfing Association (UPSA) at the Borongan City Airport yesterday, September 11.
Before heading to Calicoan, Guiuan, Eastern Samar, to participate in the Calicoan Odyssey Waves, the team posed with Mayor Agda while proudly holding the Borongan promotional magazine.
To further show its support, LGU-Borongan has also sponsored round-trip plane tickets for all the visiting UPSA members. This November, the City is set to host the 2nd National Surf Summit alongside its annual Surf City Competition.
