Cries of glee from dance performers and choreographers filled the Borongan City Plaza as the winners of this year’s Padul-ong Festival Competition were declared yesterday, September 7th.
Ranking 1st in the scorecards is Sta. Fe National High School’s Tribu Rayhak, winning 300,000 pesos and a trophy.
In second place, winning 250,000 pesos and a trophy is Maypangdan National High School’s Tribu Sagitik.
In third place, winning 200,000 pesos and a trophy is Eastern Samar National Comprehensive High School’s Tribu Magkasikasi.
Meanwhile, Nasly Jane Nalla of Sta. Fe National High School was conferred the Festival Queen award which came with 10,000 pesos worth of cash and a trophy.
