Ms. Taboc, Jade Afable is named the new Binibining Borongan Turismo 2022 after clinching the title during the search for the Bb. Borongan Turismo pageant on Friday, October 7, held at the Borongan city plaza.
Besting 10 candidates from the different parts of the city, Afable also brought home the awards; Best in talent, Best in Festival Attire, Miss Photogenic, and Best in Evening Gown.
Meanwhile, Alyanna Lois Lagdaan emerged as 1st runner up in the said pageant bagging the Best in Production and Best in Swimwear awards.
On the other hand, Ms. Can-Abong, Aira Apura, landed as 2nd runner up taking home the Miss Eloquence title while Shyrine Alea of Barangay Calingatngan took home the Miss Congeniality award.
The event was organized by the City Local Government Unit of Borongan headed by Jose Ivan Dayan Agda through the City Tourism Office, co-sponsored by Tres Amores, and La Miguela Waterville Resort.
The pageant aims to further promote and boost the growing tourism and economic activities of the city.
