The Department of Education in Borongan City made a significant leap forward in their human resource management mechanism with the conferral of their PRIME-HRM Level II accreditation by the Civil Service Commission on Thursday, October 17.
Garnering an outstanding overall rating of 100%, DepEd Borongan City Division passed all the layers of assessment targeting competence in the following HR systems: (1) recruitment, selection, and placement; (2) learning and development; (3) performance management; and (4) rewards and recognition.
The PRIME-HRM program provides for the recognition of agencies that are able to meet the standards set by the commission. By passing the second level of the PRIME HRM accreditation, DepEd Borongan City Division is granted the authority to take final action on its appointments.
