As part of the city government’s campaign to highlight community involvement in this year’s Christmas festivities, members of the Tau Gamma Phi fraternity donated over 80 christmas lanterns of their own design to the LGU last Friday. The lanterns are set to be mounted at the plaza and Baybay Boulevard alongside other adornments being prepared by the city.
More organizations are expected to present their parols as the Christmas season nears celebration. This initiative is in line with the city’s drive to enliven the community spirit during the holidays, ushering in a show of solidarity in yuletide gaiety.
