The DEPED Schools Division of Borongan City received a significant donation from Ayala Foundation’s #MagingMagiting campaign. To celebrate Flag Day, 34 educational institutions in Borongan City received new Philippine flags.
Rupert Ambil II, Information Officer of Borongan City, played a crucial role in facilitating this generous donation. Working with the Ayala Foundation, he secured 34 flags for Borongan City by discussing the marketing and development of coco products.
The donation ceremony symbolized hope and unity, with the vibrant flags serving as a reminder of the community’s collective strength. The initiative aims to foster national pride and inspire everyday heroism among students and faculty.
Ambil, known for his advocacy of promoting love for the country, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the #MagingMagiting campaign. Having witnessed the resilience of communities during his career in the news industry, he understands the significance of the Philippine flag in times of adversity.
This collaboration between the LGU Borongan, DEPED Division of Borongan, and the Ayala Foundation exemplifies how shared efforts can bring about meaningful change. As Borongan City continues to embrace its national identity, the initiative serves as an inspiring example for other communities.
