As part of the 2023 National Women’s Month celebration, the office of City Councilor Atty. Kathlyn Jane Cainday and Borongan City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) are conducting a week-long Trade Fair for Women Groups and other Organizations/Associations SLP Groups of Borongan City, at Baybay Boulevard, from March 27 to 31.
The trade fair aims to showcase the locally made products of the city produced by empowered women entrepreneurs.
A total of seventeen (17) exhibitors participated in the trade fair, showcasing a variety of elegant wearables and homestyle products (like keychains, t-shirts, bags, rags, coin purses, ref magnets, and coffee mugs), and processed/homemade food products (like peanut butter, peanut brittle, pastillas, polvoron, cacao chocolate, tablea, peanuts, chili garlic and chili oil, bukayo, atsara, kutsinta, camote chips, hawayan chips, biribid and coconut macaroons).
City Administrator Atty. Celestino, City Population Officer Mark Cortado, CSWD Officer Verina Amoyo, and City Councilor Atty. Cainday graced the opening program early today.
Visit and buy from our local producers every 8 AM – 5 PM at Baybay Boulevard, near ILoveBorongan park. The trade fair runs from March 27 to 31, 2023.
